Butternut Squash Gratin with Saint Angel Original

Ingredients

  • Saint Angel Original
  • 1 Butternut squash
  • 6-8 slices of bacon
  • ½ cup of pine nuts
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Peel the butternut, remove the seeds, and cut it into small cubes. Boil them for 10-15 min until cooked yet still firm. Put them in a large dish that goes into the oven. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In the meantime, grill the bacon in a pan until golden and crispy. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Add them on top of the butternut cubes.
  3. Roast the pine nuts and place them on top of the dish.
  4. Pour the cup of cream and cut the Saint Angel Original cheese into slices to go on top of the gratin. Bake for 15 min in the oven at 400F.
